Tour Itinerary
Day 1- Arrival Cairo
- Upon your arrival in Cairo by air, we will be present to meet and greet you and also to provide assistance with your luggage. Our team will then proceed to drive you to your overnight hotel.
- At the hotel, we will be available to ensure a seamless check-in process and also to discuss your tour itinerary, confirming a pickup time for the following day.
- Overnight in Cairo.
Day 2- Giza Pyramids, and Saqqara
- Begin your day with breakfast at the hotel, followed by a meeting with our English Egyptologist tour guide. Your tour will commence with a visit to the Pyramids of Giza, which include the Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure pyramids, along with a limestone statue of the Sphinx that guards the entire area and the valley temple of King Khare.
- Next, you will proceed to the city of Sakkara, where you can explore the Step Pyramid of King Djoser, which has an interesting story behind it. King Djoser requested his chief Architect Imhotep to create something different for his burial, and the result was the Step pyramid. This new achievement surprised the king greatly during this period.
- The day tour will come to an end, and you will return to your Cairo hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 3- Egyptian Museum, the Citadel & Khan El Khalili
- You will have breakfast at the hotel before meeting with your tour guide who will accompany you on your second-day tour in Cairo. This tour will be completely different and more exciting as you will be visiting the best of monuments that are waiting for you.
- Your tour will start with a visit to The Egyptian Museum, which is one of the most important museums in Egypt and houses Pharaonic monuments, including those of the well-known King Tutankhamun.
- After this visit, you will be taken to the Old Cairo area where you can visit the Citadel of Salah El-Din, which played a crucial role in protecting Egypt as it was considered the seat of power for more than 700 years.
- Next, you will proceed to one of the oldest and most interesting markets in Egypt, Khan El-Khalili, which is regarded as one of the most stunning bazaars in the Middle East.
- After completing your day tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Cairo where you will stay overnight.
Day 4- Fly to Aswan
- Have breakfast at the hotel and proceed to check out. Our representative will meet you at the hotel and transfer you to the Cairo airport for your flight to Aswan. Once you arrive at Aswan airport, an Egyptologist tour guide will accompany you to explore the magnificent city of Aswan.
- Next, you will sail on the Nile River by motor boat to reach Agilika Island, where you will visit the Temple of Philae. This temple was constructed during the Gaeco-Roman period and was dedicated to the goddess Isis, who is also known as the mother of god Horus.
- Finally, you will be escorted to visit one of the spectacular sights in Aswan in an optional tour to the Nubian Village. The Nubian Village is a popular site in Aswan, and it's worth spending two hours there. The village around every curve will surprise you, as it is a genuine and authentic location.
- Upon completion of your day tour, you will be transferred to your Nile cruise for check-in and overnight stay.
Day 5: Abu Simbel Temples optional / Kom Ombo Temple
- Breakfast onboard the cruise ship or optional tour: You will leave for the Abu Simbel Temples very early, so instead of having breakfast on board your cruise, you will be issued with a breakfast box to eat along the way. The temples are located approximately 3 hours away from Aswan, but the drive is definitely worth it.
- These magnificent rock-cut temples were built during the reign of Pharaoh Ramses II and were meant to be lasting monuments for him and his wife, Queen Nefertari.
- Once the temple tour is complete, you will be driven back to the cruise ship which will set sail for Kom Ombo. Here, you will have the opportunity to see Kom Ombo Temple, an ancient temple that was dedicated to two different gods. One half was dedicated to Sobek, while the other half was dedicated to Horus, so the temple is unique in that it consists of two identical halves.
- As you sail towards Edfu, enjoy a delicious Lunch onboard the boat, and spend the afternoon as you wish. Dinner is served at the usual time, and you will spend this night on the Nile at Edfu.
- Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.
Day 6 – Edfu Temple and Cruise to Luxor
- Enjoy another good breakfast on the boat, and then you will be taken to see the ancient Temple of Edfu. This temple was buried under the sand for more than 2,000. Because of this, it is now Egypt’s best-preserved ancient temple.
- Once you have explored the temple, return to the ship, and sail to Luxor. On the east bank of Luxor where you will be accompanied by an Egyptologist guide to visit the Karnak Temples, the greatest example of worship in history and was dedicated to the God Amon, his wife Mut, and their son Khonsu. It was constructed from the beginning of the Middle Kingdom to the Graeco-Roman Kingdom.
- Then move to Luxor Temple, built by Amunhotep III in the 18th Dynasty in the New Kingdom and completed by Ramesses II during the 19th Dynasty. The temple is a testament to the incredible engineering and architectural skills of ancient Egyptians.
- In the evening there will be an authentic Egyptian Belly Dance Show on board the cruise ship.
- Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner
Day 7- Luxor West Bank and Hurghada by road:
- In the early morning, you can take an optional hot air balloon ride over the mesmerizing landscape of the Valley of the Kings, the Valley of the Queens, and the Mountain of the Nobles. The duration of this incredible flight is approximately 30 to 45 minutes, depending on weather conditions.
- Then. You'll start by exploring the wet bank of Luxor and the Valley of the Kings, which is where the tombs of our ancestors are located. This area is believed to be the royal cemetery of the Theban kings and rulers of ancient Egypt.
- Next, you'll visit the Queen Hatshepsut Temple in Deir El Bahari. This temple is considered one of the most beautiful examples of ancient Egyptian architecture because it was entirely carved out of the mountain.
- After that, you'll see the Colossi of Memnon, which are two massive statues of King Amenhotep III. These statues are over 3,000 years old and are a sight to behold.
- Once you've finished your excursion, you will travel to Hurghada in a private air-conditioned vehicle, which will take approximately four hours. Upon arrival at the hotel, you will check in and spend the night in Hurghada.
Day 8– Hurghada
- Start your day with a delicious breakfast and get ready for a free day to enjoy in Hurghada.
- You can spend the day at the resort, swimming in the beautiful Red Sea or try some amazing activities like Snorkeling, Windsurfing, Sailing or Deep Sea Fishing. It's the perfect time to unwind and relax or get adventurous and explore the exciting activities that Hurghada has to offer.
- Spend the night at Hurghada.
Day 9 – Flight back to Cairo.
- After breakfast at your Hurghada hotel, you will be driven to the airport. Once in Cairo, you will be greeted and helped before being driven back to your hotel for free time.
Day 10 –Final Departure.
- After breakfast at your Cairo hotel, you will have free time before your flight, check out, and be taken to Cairo International Airport for your last journey.
- You will receive the final confirmation via email, once you have submitted your booking. Kindly keep an eye on your inbox for the confirmation details.
- No payment will be deducted from your account until you have received the confirmation email. We value your satisfaction and will only proceed with charging your account once the confirmation has been successfully sent.
- Please note that only 30% of the total amount will be deducted online as a deposit. The remaining balance will be paid in cash upon your arrival to Egypt in either Dollars or Euros.
- The duration of each daily tour is approximately 8 hours, while the half-day tour typically lasts around 4 hours. Please be advised that if the tour exceeds these time ranges, additional charges may apply.
- After receiving the confirmation email, one of our representatives will promptly reach out to you to confirm the departure point and time. We understand the importance of accurate information and ensuring a smooth experience for you.
- Tipping is not included in any of our packages and leaves to the discretion of the travelers. Although not mandatory, it is of great importance to people who will take care of you while traveling.
