Day 1: Arrival in Cairo / Check-in at the Hotel
- Upon landing at Cairo airport, you will be greeted by your knowledgeable tour leader who will be easily identifiable, holding a sign displaying Marca Tours. Then you will be taken to your private A/C vehicle, ready to transfer you to Cairo Hotel for check-in.Optional evening tour to attend the Sound & Light show in the Pyramids area.
Overnight stay in Cairo
Day 02: Luxor West Bank Tours / Sail to Edfu
- After having your breakfast at your hotel, our guide will pick you up at 8 am to start your new adventure in the world of the pyramids.
- First, you'll visit the Giza Plateau to see, the oldest of the seven wonders of the ancient world, the grand Pyramids of Giza. These grand structures held the title of the tallest man-made structure for over 3,800 years. Despite the many theories surrounding their construction, their exact origin remains a mystery.
- However, during the tour, your professional and friendly guide will provide you with detailed information about the pyramids and answer any questions you may have, also you will see the great Sphinx and the valley temple of King Kefren.
- Afterward, make your way to the Step Pyramid of King Djoser, which was built by the famous architect Imhotep during the 3rd dynasty in the Saqqara Necropolis. This impressive structure is the first colossal stone building in Egypt.
- While you are there, you will also explore the Pyramid of Teti and the tomb of Kagemni, one of the nobles in Saqqara who was the son-in-law of King Teti during the 6th dynasty of the old kingdom. The tomb features incredible wall inscriptions displaying various animals, fish, and birds in offering and hunting scenes, which are considered some of the finest examples of art from ancient Egypt.

Day 3: Visit the Egyptian Museum, the Citadel, and Khan El Khalil Bazaar
- Once you have had breakfast at your hotel, your tour guide will be there to pick you up and take you to the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities. This museum is home to two floors of exhibits that showcase the largest collection of Egyptian antiquities in the world, including the one-of-a-kind golden treasure discovered untouched in the Valley of the Kings. Additionally, you can view the collection belonging to the boy king Tutankhamun.
- After completing the museum tour, you’ll head to the Saladin Citadel. This fortress was built by Salah al-Din in 1183 AD on the Moqattam Hills to protect against Crusader armies. It offers stunning views of Cairo and is a well-preserved site with mosques and museums, including the Mosque of Muhammad Ali Pasha. Its alabaster structure stands out beautifully against the sandstone city and was designed by the Turkish architect Yousif Boushnaq.
- In the end, you will go to the Khan el-Khalili Bazaar, one of the oldest bazaars in the Middle East. Discover a maze of alleys that have been at the center of Cairo’s trading activities since the 14th century and then we will transfer you back to the hotel for an overnight stay in Cairo to relax and get ready for your next day exploring Luxor.Meals Included: Breakfast
Day 4: Fly to Luxor / Luxor East Bank Tour
- Following your breakfast, our guide will arrive at your hotel to take you to Cairo Airport for a 1-hour flight to Luxor Airport. Upon arrival, you will check-in at the hotel and be welcomed by our Luxor tour guide who will accompany you on a tour of Luxor's East Bank, where historic sites abound.
- We will begin with a visit to the Karnak temples, one of the six exceptional ancient Egyptian temples. At the rear of the temple, there are chapels constructed for Tutmosis III and Alexander the Great, reminding visitors of the past life of the temples as a Roman legionary fortress during the Roman era.
- Then, we will pause for a mid-day lunch at a local restaurant, where you can enjoy a variety of international and local dishes. After that, we will proceed to the magnificent Luxor Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Constructed around 1400 BCE, the temple complex was built by Pharaohs such as Tutankhamun and Ramesses II, and it became a fortress during the Roman era. Your guide will provide a tour of the temple complex, highlighting its impressive features.
- At the end of the tour, you will be transferred back to the hotel and overnight.
Day 5: Luxor West Bank Tour / Back to Cairo
- In the early morning, take an optional hot air balloon ride over the mesmerizing landscape of the Luxor West Bank. This enchanting experience lasts around 30 to 45 minutes, depending on weather conditions.
- Start your day by enjoying a delicious breakfast at the hotel. Shortly after you have finished your meal, it will be time to proceed with the Luxor West Bank tour, guided by an expert tour guide.
- The first destination will be the Valley of the Kings, which is considered the royal cemetery of the Theban kings and rulers of ancient Egypt, and the place where our Pharaohs were buried.
- After visiting the Valley of Kings, the next stop is the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. As the first female pharaoh of ancient Egypt, your private guide will share the fascinating story of her divine birth and 20-year reign. Admire the temple's three terraces and intricate wall paintings, and learn how the third terrace was used as a monastery during the Christian era. Your guide will provide a historical overview before giving you time to explore and capture photos on your own.
- Finally, you will see the Colossi of Memnon, two sandstone statues depicting King Amenhotep III in a seated position. Learn with your private guide why the name of Memnon was given to the statues.
- Later in the afternoon, our driver will transfer you to Luxor Airport for your flight back to Cairo. Once you arrive in Cairo, you'll meet your tour guide and the driver then transfer you to your hotel for an overnight stay.Meals Included: Breakfast
Day 6: Cairo and Final departure
- Start your day with a delicious breakfast at your hotel. When the time is right, your tour manager and driver will pick you up and take you to the airport for your return flight home.
