Detailed itinerary
- Your tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo and take you on an incredible adventure to the Al Fayoum Oasis. The oasis is located around 90 kilometers away from Cairo and is a must-visit destination in Egypt.
- Your first stop will be Tunis Village, known for its traditional pottery and handicrafts. There you will see skilled craftsmen and observe the creation of exceptional pottery pieces that showcase the rich cultural heritage of Tunis Village. Take advantage of the chance to buy authentic souvenirs that will help you connect with this timeless craft. After visiting Tunis Village, you can have lunch before proceeding to the next location.
- The most well-known sight in Fayoum is Wadi Al Rayan, often referred to as the Water Falls of Fayoum, and it will be the second stop on our tour today. Wadi El Rayan is a beautiful natural depression below sea level. The only waterfalls in Egypt are located at this stunning natural location, which lies in the middle of the desert. You'll also have the opportunity to take a felucca sailboat ride at Lake Qaroun, Egypt's third-largest natural lake.
- We will then take a 4x4 wheels vehicle to Wadi Hitan, which is also known as the Whale Valley. This location was designated a UNESCO World Heritage site and is home to hundreds of millions of-year-old sea creatures that have been petrified and fossilized. You'll see shark teeth, seashells, whale skeletons, and the rugged mangrove roots as you stroll along.
- Finally, you'll head back to your Cairo hotel after a full day of exploring Al Fayoum Oasis.
- You will receive the final confirmation via email, once you have submitted your booking. Kindly keep an eye on your inbox for the confirmation details.
- No payment will be deducted from your account until you have received the confirmation email. We value your satisfaction and will only proceed with charging your account once the confirmation has been successfully sent.
- Please note that only 30% of the total amount will be deducted online as a deposit. The remaining balance will be paid in cash upon your arrival to Egypt in either Dollars or Euros.
- The duration of each daily tour is approximately 8 hours, while the half-day tour typically lasts around 4 hours. Please be advised that if the tour exceeds these time ranges, additional charges may apply.
- After receiving the confirmation email, one of our representatives will promptly reach out to you to confirm the departure point and time. We understand the importance of accurate information and ensuring a smooth experience for you.
- Tipping is not included in any of our packages and leaves to the discretion of the travelers. Although not mandatory, it is of great importance to people who will take care of you while traveling.
