If you have limited time available or are on a layover, this half-day tour is a great way to discover the wonders Pyramids of Giza with pick up and drop off at the airport. Tour Itinerary
Detailed itinerary
- Our friendly guide will meet you at Cairo International Airport and take you on a short visit to the famous Giza Pyramids, which are the most well-known ancient structures in the world. On the way to the pyramids, our guide will tell you stories about the pharaohs and their special beliefs about life after death, burial, and mummification rituals.
- You will start the tour at the Giza Pyramids of Cheops, the son of Senefru, and the second pharaoh of the Old Kingdom's fourth dynasty. You will learn about how the pyramids were built and see the other pyramids that belong to King Khafra Chephren and King Menkuare Mycerinus, the last Pharaoh of the dynasty.
- Our guide will explain why the Sphinx has a man's head and a lion's body and you will have the opportunity to take some photos up close to the great sphinx, then we will proceed to visit the valley temple of King Chefren.
- If you want, you can ride a camel for an additional cost, enter one of those great pyramids or even go for some more visits based on your time for example to The Egyptian Museum
- After the tour, we will take you back to the airport. Don't forget to tell us how you enjoyed the tour!
- You will receive the final confirmation via email, once you have submitted your booking. Kindly keep an eye on your inbox for the confirmation details.
- No payment will be deducted from your account until you have received the confirmation email. We value your satisfaction and will only proceed with charging your account once the confirmation has been successfully sent.
- Please note that only 30% of the total amount will be deducted online as a deposit. The remaining balance will be paid in cash upon your arrival to Egypt in either Dollars or Euros.
- The duration of each daily tour is approximately 8 hours, while the half-day tour typically lasts around 4 hours. Please be advised that if the tour exceeds these time ranges, additional charges may apply.
- After receiving the confirmation email, one of our representatives will promptly reach out to you to confirm the departure point and time. We understand the importance of accurate information and ensuring a smooth experience for you.
- Tipping is not included in any of our packages and leaves to the discretion of the travelers. Although not mandatory, it is of great importance to people who will take care of you while traveling.
