  • You'll be picked up from your hotel in Cairo and taken to the Cairo airport. From there, you'll fly to Luxor and meet with our tour manager who will take you to the Nile Cruise for lunch and embarkation.
  • After lunch, you'll visit the Karnak Temple, which is a complex of shrines, kiosks, pylons, and obelisks dedicated to the Theban gods and the greater glory of Egypt's pharaohs. Karnak was the most significant location for the worship of the Theban Triad (Amun, Mut, and Khonso).
  • You'll then visit the Luxor Temple, where the First Pylon was created by Ramses the Second and decorated with his military battle of Kadesh. The temple was mostly constructed by the New Kingdom Pharaoh Amenhotep the Third and completed by King Tutankhamun and the Great King Ramses the Second.

  • Enjoy breakfast aboard the ship and head to the west bank of the Nile. Our itinerary includes a visit to the Valley of the Kings, previously known as the Great Place of the Truth. Here, the Pharaohs once rested in enormous stone sarcophagi, awaiting their eternal rest. The Pyramid-Shaped Mountain Peak dominates the remote valley behind Deir el Bahri.
  • On the way, we'll visit the Colossi of Memnon, which are enormous statues and the remnants of Amenhotep the Third's once-largest complex on the west bank, rising roughly 18 meters above the plain.
  • Next, we'll go to the Queen Hatshepsut temple, which rises out of the desert plain in a series of terraces, merging with the soaring limestone cliffs that form the eastern face of the Theban Mountain, as if nature herself had constructed this extraordinary structure.

The temple was built during the reigns of Ptolemy the Third on the foundation of an even older temple. The walls depict the myth of Horus and Seth's conflict and are likely performed every year as a religious drama.
  • Next, we will have lunch while the cruise sails to Kom Ombo. There, we will visit the Kom Ombo Temple, which was built in the Ptolemaic and Roman eras and was dedicated to the gods Sobek and Horus. It is situated 40 km north of Aswan.
