Make the most of your time in Cairo with a two-day itinerary that showcases the breathtaking Giza Pyramids and Great Sphinx. Your day will begin early with a local guide picking you up from your Cairo or Giza accommodation. He will provide you with important information about the locations you will be visiting to ensure you have a fantastic experience. Relax as you are driven to the Giza Plateau, where you will see the fabled pyramids towering against the sky.
Your professional tour guide will then take you on a trip through time, revealing the mysteries and background of these historic wonders. You will view the three principal pyramids of Khafre, Menkaure, and Khufu, as well as the famous Sphinx which dates back to Chephren's reign, with a lion's body and a pharaoh’s head.
Afterward, you will visit a nearby restaurant for lunch before proceeding to Sakkara, located just 30 minutes outside of Giza. Sakkara is home to the renowned Step Pyramid of Djoser, created by the architect Imhotep, which is considered the first truly enormous stone structure and a crucial turning point in the development of pyramid building. You will also have a tour of the nobles' tombs, which are home to a number of high-ranking official tombs and mastabas.
At the end of this satisfying day spent touring these amazing historical places, you will return to your Cairo hotel in the late afternoon or early evening to relax and refresh for the next day.
On the second day of your tour, your day commences as our expert Egyptologist guide picks you up from your hotel and we’ll head to the renowned Egyptian Museum, where you will be exposed to a vast array of artifacts, including the remarkable jewelry and treasures of King Tutankhamun.
