Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Cairo | Alamein | Siwa
- A tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo early in the morning and drive you to the western part of Egypt in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle. you'll reach Siwa in time to see the beautiful sunset at Fatnas Lake, which is located on a small island in Birket Siwa. The lake is surrounded by picturesque mountains, providing a stunning backdrop for your visit.
- You'll spend the night at the Siwa Hotel and enjoy a delicious dinner.
Day 2: Siwa
- Wake up early and fuel yourself with a delicious breakfast at the hotel. We'll be leaving at 7:00 am to start our day. Our first stop will be at the Alexander the Great Temple, which is also known as the Oracle Temple. Legend has it that Alexander the Great visited this temple to prove that he was the son of Zeus.
- you can visit the Shali Fort, which is located on a hill surrounded by a wall. This complex is made of mud-brick structures and has been the home of the oasis' inhabitants for almost eight centuries. The residents used to keep their animals inside the stronghold every evening, and they all lived together in cramped quarters.
- Next, you can head to the Mountain of the Dead, which is a conical mountain located slightly over a kilometer north of Shali. This mountain contains tombs that date back to the Ptolemaic, Roman, and 26th Dynasties, and they are carved into the side of the mountain. Four tombs are a must-see, with the most beautiful one belonging to Si Amun.
- Our next destination is the briny lake which has salty water that allows you to float effortlessly. It's a great experience even if you're not a strong swimmer, but be careful not to get the water in your eyes. Remember, the cleanest lake is the one where you can see the bottom.
- After that, we'll visit The Spring of the Sun, Cleopatra's bath. It's said that Cleopatra herself used to swim here, so you'll get to experience a little bit of history.
- We'll break for lunch at a local Siwan restaurant where you can indulge in some traditional Siwan cuisine.
- Go to the Great Sand Sea after that. Take a desert journey by Jeep 4x4 and discover the best sand dunes in Egypt for sandboarding.
- After that, visit Bir Waheed, a hot and cold spring, and prepare some traditional Bedouin tea for when the sun sets.
- Get our campsite ready. Dinner and a stay at the Swia Hotel.
Day 3: Siwa | Masra Matrouh | Cairo
- After having breakfast at your accommodation, you can return to Cairo, with some stops along the way to take some rest and coffee and continue to Cairo.
- You will receive the final confirmation via email, once you have submitted your booking. Kindly keep an eye on your inbox for the confirmation details.
- No payment will be deducted from your account until you have received the confirmation email. We value your satisfaction and will only proceed with charging your account once the confirmation has been successfully sent.
- Please note that only 30% of the total amount will be deducted online as a deposit. The remaining balance will be paid in cash upon your arrival to Egypt in either Dollars or Euros.
- The duration of each daily tour is approximately 8 hours, while the half-day tour typically lasts around 4 hours. Please be advised that if the tour exceeds these time ranges, additional charges may apply.
- After receiving the confirmation email, one of our representatives will promptly reach out to you to confirm the departure point and time. We understand the importance of accurate information and ensuring a smooth experience for you.
- Tipping is not included in any of our packages and leaves to the discretion of the travelers. Although not mandatory, it is of great importance to people who will take care of you while traveling.
